The Opportunity

Quotefor.au turns a 60-second camera walkthrough of any room into an itemised, licensed-tradie-reviewed renovation quote. The AI works. What's missing is a full-time operator to run it as a company.

We're looking for a CEO and lead co-founder to take Quotefor to a category-defining AU/NZ business. A founding shareholder stays on as chairman, owning the product/AI roadmap — but the operating company is yours to build.

What You'd Own

• Go-to-market. Channel strategy, pricing, customer acquisition, partnerships.
• Fundraising. Pre-seed through seed and beyond.
• Hiring. First 5–10 hires, then scaling team.
• Operations and P&L. Full ownership of revenue, runway, and unit economics.
• Board comms and investor relationships.

Where It Stands Today

• Live consumer product at quotefor.au
• AI vision + voice pipeline working at proof-of-value scale
• Brand, domain, deploy stack, transactional email infrastructure all built
• Pre-revenue, pre-raise

Structural Disclosure

Quotefor is currently a subsidiary of Tailor, which owns the underlying AI vision and voice technology. We'll cover the company structure and spin-out plan on the first call.

What We Need From You

• Deep connections in the AU trades industry. You can call ten licensed-tradie principals tomorrow and get them on a video walkthrough with you next week.
• Working understanding of how a renovation actually gets built — sequencing, dependencies, what a tradie quotes off vs what they quote around, what causes scope creep and rework.
• Reflex command of relevant AU standards — NCC, BCA, AS/NZS series, state-level licensed-tradie regulations. You don't need to recite section numbers; you need to know what the model is allowed to ignore vs what must be flagged.
• Estimator / QS / building-inspector / construction-PM / renovation-firm-owner background, or equivalent. We don't care about the job title; we care that you've spent years inside the work the product automates.
• Ability to go full-time within 30 days of signing definitive docs. Non-negotiable.
• AU-based or willing to relocate.
• Explicitly non-technical. Our co-founder owns the AI / product / engineering roadmap. You own everything else: customer, channel, standards, ops, fundraising, story.

What We Don't Need

• A technical co-founder. We have one.
• A part-time advisor. We need an operator.
• Someone who needs the title before the work.
