Development & Delivery Lead — Brisbane

About the role

Tailor is an AI system that keeps a project's approvals, evidence and plans in one place. It drafts registers, submissions and reports; people check them and make the calls. You'll be the person accountable for Tailor's delivery on a large Queensland energy project, working alongside the client's approvals team and a consulting partner. You'll also spend about a day a week on sovereign compute development.

What you'll do

• About 2 days a week: lead Tailor's delivery on the approvals programme. Set up the client's workspace, get the right inputs in, and steer the draft submissions with the client's specialists.
• Train the client's team to use Tailor, and turn what you learn into better ways of working.
• About 1 day a week: help develop sovereign compute sites (power, grid connection, energy deals, supplier contracts and approval gates).
• Report progress plainly to the client and to us each week.

What you bring

• Senior experience delivering approvals or major projects in Queensland energy or resources.
• A working knowledge of state and federal environmental approvals.
• Engineering qualifications. RPEQ or CPEng is a strong plus.
• Comfort leading client teams and partners without direct authority.
• Willingness to learn a new way of working. No prior AI experience needed.

Terms

• Part-time employment with Tailor Intelligence Pty Ltd: salary plus super, and pro-rata leave.
• Three days a week, Brisbane-based and hybrid, with time on client sites.
• Fixed term to mid-2027, starting from late November 2026.
• Right to work in Australia required. Client site inductions and checks apply.
